The AAS-BUS provides the skills and knowledge for entry-level work
in the field of business. Here are important points about the
Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business.
- Complete Pre-Program Requirements before beginning an AAS-BUS.
- TOCC offers the AAS-BUS with a Management Specialty. Check
the TOCC website for updates and additional options.
- New classes may meet program requirements. Check the TOCC
website for updates.
- Note: In order to meet Associate of Applied Science program
requirements, a grade of C (2.0) or higher is required for each
class.
- The AAS-BUS is not a transfer degree. Students seeking to
transfer should complete the AGEC-B certificate or the ABUS
degree.
- Completion of an AGEC-B certificate or and ABUS degree will
guarantee admission to the any of the three Arizona public
universities (University of Arizona, Arizona State University,
or Northern University of Arizona). However, students need to
consult with the college or school within the state university
to plan a smooth transfer. Many business programs have
competitive applications.
- Notes on scheduling (in parentheses in the checklist tables)
show when courses are offered.
- Students should meet with their advisors at least once every
semester.
