The Associate of Business Administration is a transfer degree for
business majors. If completed according to transfer guide
recommendations for a specific business program, the Associate of
Business Administration (ABUS) degree can guarantee a student’s
status as a junior at Arizona universities.
Here are important points about the Associate of Business
Administration Degree for Transfer.
- Complete an
AGEC-B (39 credits) to guarantee transferability
before completing the 73-credit Associate of Associate of
Business Administration (ABUS) Degree for Transfer.
- Completion of an ABUS Degree for Transfer will guarantee
admission to the any of the three Arizona public universities
(University of Arizona, Arizona State University, or Northern
University of Arizona).
- Completion of an ABUS degree does not guarantee acceptance
to schools with selective admissions. Contact the business
school for application recommendations.
- Note: In order to meet ABUS Degree for Transfer program
requirements, a grade of C (2.0) or higher is required for each
class.
- Complete
Pre-Program Requirements before starting to work on the ABUS
degree.
- New classes developed by TOCC may meet General Education (AGEC)
Requirements. Check the TOCC website for updates.
- The Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration
(AAS-BUS) requirements differ from requirements for the ABUS
transfer program.
