The Associate of Science is a transfer degree for science majors. If
completed according to transfer guide recommendations for a specific
science major, the Associate of Science (AS) degree can guarantee a
student’s status as a junior at Arizona universities.
Here are important points about the Associate of Science Degree for
Transfer.
- Complete an
AGEC-S (43 credits) to guarantee transferability
before completing the 62-credit Associate of Associate of
Science Degree for Transfer.
- Completion of an AS Degree for Transfer will guarantee
admission to the any of the three Arizona public universities
(University of Arizona, Arizona State University, or Northern
University of Arizona).
- Completion of an AS degree does not guarantee acceptance to
colleges or schools with selective admissions. Contact the
school you are considering for application recommendations.
- Note: In order to meet AS Degree for Transfer program
requirements, a grade of C (2.0) or higher is required for each
class.
- Complete
Pre-Program Requirements before starting to work on the AS
degree.
